Thank you to all of the volunteers and participants who made this an amazing workshop. Partnering with the California Career Development Association, Cosumnes River College Career Center, Teal Publishing, and Fitness By Design, we did stretches, the "Power Pose", and activities like "Mix and Mingle" and "Work That Needs Doing." I learned so much from the creativity and sharing of strengths and skills. It was an honor to share activities from my book, "Fire Up Your Profile For LifeWork Success". You can see more about the workshop information and activities in the Power Point Presentation below.
"The workshop was terrific! There were elements that made it engaging, active, current and informative. You did a great job of keeping us engaged. Also, the pace was good because time flew. I was impressed with the volunteers. Thank you for a wonderful event." Marco Contreras, Sacramento CCDA Chapter Chair
"This workshop was wonderful! The activities were a lot of fun and very applicable no matter where you were on the career development path. I walked away feeling more confident as a business woman and am excited to implement what I learned from Nancy. Michelle Ernster, Fitness by Design
"I enjoyed participating in Nancy's workshop on, "Fire Up Your Profile". She has a talent for using creative activities to involve the participants in discussion. In this busy, technology-laden world we live in, we sometimes forget the power of an in-person conversation. Nancy brought the power of that personal connection to the activities she facilitated." Wendy Hays, Graduate student
"This interactive workshop uses a variety of activities to engage people with different kinds of learning styles, which helps to make the concepts being presented more relevant and tangible!" Kelli Sholer, M.S. - Undergraduate Advising Coordinator @ UC Davis
